What i want out of this class

 Although I am taking this class to satisfy my graduation requirements, yet i am super excited to learn a lot about technology and the impact of it in this generation and previous generations. As we realized that the world is advancing and technology is becoming a crucial component of it. I like how we covered in the first class, the history and changes of technology and its impacts throughout the years. It also terrifies me to know that today is the most privacy i will have. But it was fun to know. I like that these class offers group projects which mean that i will be able to learn ideas and tricks from my classmates and vice visa. I am also opened to learning new things. For example, this is the first time i am learning how to create and post to a blog; I am loving it. Considering that we lived in a technology dependent world, i think it is imperative for one to keep up with it. And from observation and experience, every job has adapted some form of technology. As someone who is interested in the business field studying accounting, technology is vital in every aspect.  In accounting, we have several softwares that help ease the workload. And companies are constantly trying to get the best software which makes some becomes softwares outdated. This is classic example of technology going out of date. I wonder if excel and quickbooks will be relevant in the next 20 years or so. In a nutshell, I am an ambitious fast learner, and I am looking forward to learn all the cool tricks, news, evolution and the history of technology in this virtual world class. That is what i want!!!

Dot.com to Dot.bomb

 The dot.com is such an interesting era, where the internet is taking off and the trust of the customer are gained. Not until when the market started to crash in the 2000 where a-lot of companies began to go under.  Some companies fought to stay in the market through facing hardship to maintain capital and keeping their employees. Usually, when business slows down and fixed and continued to incur variable and fixed usually fast speed for that business to go under. Especially during the 2000, technology was not advanced as in today's world. Therefore, human power was needed, meaning, companies can not afford to let some valuable employees despite it may them more to keep them. This kept fixed cost rising and affecting companies, despite there is not enough revenue coming in to offset the cost.  If the dot.com would have happened in todays era, I believe most companies would have not gone under because in today's society, there are more cross training in departments and technolog
